Snare drum comparation

Hi everyone, in this video we are testing five metal snare drums:
0:09 – Ludwig Supersensitive LM411 (’76) – 6,5″ x 14″ – Aluminium shell;
0:41 – Pearl Sensitone Elite (2009) – 5″ x 14″ – Brass shell;
1:15 – Ludwig Supraphonic LM400 (’65) – 5″ x 14″ Aluminium shell
1:46 – DW Collector’s Series (’96) – 6,5″ x 14″ Brass shell;
2:21 – AK Custom Snare Drums (2012) – 5,5″ x 14″ Copper shell.
All snare drums were tuned on top to B4 and bottom to A4
We’ve recorded with a Shure SM 77 (vintage) – no edit sound in post production.
